Four members of the Dementia Coalition presented at the fall Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA) conference on November 5 on the topic "Creating a Dementia-Capable Community: A Collaboration of Disability and Aging Services in Northwest Ohio." National Diabetes Month is to bring attention to diabetes. The focus for 2021 is to raise awareness about pre-diabetes and preventing diabetes. This year’s theme is, “Small steps big difference, preventing diabetes is within your reach”. Pre-diabetes is a serious health condition where your blood sugar levels are higher than normal, yet not in the range to be considered diabetic.
