Friday Update

The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities has scheduled its annual meeting for April 25 at 6 p.m. at the Larc Lane Training Center. This annual meeting celebrates the Board’s accomplishments for 2021 and anticipates the goals for 2022.

Stress Awareness Month: Stress is a normal part of everyone’s life. Whether good stress or bad stress, people will experience it in different ways. Good stress can help motivate people to prepare and perform better. People under bad stress - especially chronic stress - are more susceptible to health problems, both physical and emotional.

Aging Gracefully

Presenters Jennifer Kinney and Claire Copa will provide an introduction to sensory stimulation / relaxation techniques and discuss benefits for the aging DD population.
