Lucas County Board of DD Senior Committee Training:
"Using Sensory and Relaxation Techniques
for Individuals with IDD and Dementia"
Originally planned for April, this training has been re-scheduled.
NEW DATE: Thursday, May 26, Noon to 1 pm
Presenters Jennifer Kinney and Claire Copa will provide an introduction to sensory stimulation / relaxation techniques and discuss benefits for the aging DD population.
The presentation will conclude with an opportunity for attendees to practice a relaxation technique along with the presenters.
Jennifer Kinney is a Provider Support Specialist with the Lucas County Board of DD.
Claire Copa is Coordinator of Education, Training, and Outreach with MemoryLane Care Services. She assists LCBDD with Dementia Grant projects.
