OADSP TRAINING SERIES: Module #116: Providing Personal Support with Dignity.

This month’s module focuses on the role of the DSP in providing daily support to served individuals in a way that ensures they maintain their dignity, and which is consistent with level of support detailed in their service plan. Course objectives include outlining the DSP’s role in meeting the supported person’s daily needs and will provide detailed instructions related to dental care, bathing, showering, bed baths, shaving, dressing, and transfers, including when utilizing adaptive devices.
The training meets the requirements of OAC 5123-2-08 Appendix C Annual and OAC 5123-2-09 Appendix A Annual under Components of Quality Care.
