1.   Health & Wellness Alert focuses on falls

Having a developmental disability might put a person at greater risk for falling if they have a vision impairment, muscle weakness, gait and balance difficulties, use multiple medications, or have a sedentary lifestyle. Read the newest Health and Wellness Alert from the Ohio Department of DD about falls.

2.  Request a speaker from the Board

If you would like a guest speaker from the Lucas County Board of DD at your club, group or organization, please contact our Public Information Office at 419-380-4048 or fill out the online form at this link.

3.  Department of DD is asking us to participate in its Family Resources Survey

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities would like to ask families of people with disabilities to take a short online survey about what family resources they used during the past year. Click here to take the survey.
