Emerging Advocates meeting

Everyone is invited to the Emerging Advocates meeting on August 15 from 6-7:00 p.m. at the Larc Lane Center Training Center, door 0, at 1155 Larc Lane. Guest Speakers will be Ohio Tech Ambassadors, including Nathan Turner of Lucas County, and George Myers, who directs the Tech Ambassador Program. Ohio Tech Ambassadors teach their peers about Supportive Technology through peer mentoring sessions, using their own personal experiences (see list of Ohio Tech Ambassadors). While Emerging Advocates is a new self-advocacy program for transition-age youth (ages 14 to 22) with developmental disabilities, this session on August 15 is open to all!
