The Anthony Wayne Football program invites students with developmental disabilities to experience Victory Day on July 30 at 7 p.m. This special evening gives participants the chance to take the field under the stadium lights alongside an Anthony Wayne varsity football player serving as their mentor.
Each participant will receive and keep an Anthony Wayne football jersey, be introduced as they run through the team tunnel, participate in fun football drills, and score a touchdown with play-by-play announcing. Every player will also receive a commemorative mini football helmet. The evening concludes with free walking tacos and slushies for participants and their families.
