Zoo For All Safari Day creates a welcoming environment where guests of all abilities can explore the Toledo Zoo through sensory-friendly programming, adaptive activities, community collaborations and all-ability animal encounters.
The event features a resource area with local disability-focused organizations and service providers, a sensory-friendly dance party, all-ability animal encounters, movement zones and an artist showcase. Safari passport activities throughout the event will encourage guests to explore the Zoo’s Audio Guided Tours and redeem their passports for a prize.
Sensory locations will be clearly identified on the event map, including the adult changing table location. Communication cards and additional accessibility resources are available year-round on the Conda Family Zoo For All page.
This event is included with Zoo admission (free for members). The event is on a Monday, which allows all Lucas County residents free admission from 10 a.m. to noon.
