SALUTE Storytellers Showcase

Everyone has a story worth telling.

A collaboration between Lucas DD, the University of Toledo, and the Toledo Zoo, SALUTE Storytellers is a transformative workshop where individuals with developmental disabilities step into the spotlight to craft and share their personal stories. Through guided coaching, creative exploration, and community support, participants shape real-life experiences into compelling narratives. These stories will connect, inspire, and resonate.

The journey culminates in a powerful live performance event, where each storyteller takes the stage to share their voice with the world.

Real stories. Powerful voices.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind celebration starting at 2 p.m. July 19 at the Toledo Zoo, where storytelling meets creativity and community. The event is free and open to the public.
