Autism Parenting Magazine presents the Autism Parenting Summit- a free, online event designed to support parents and caregivers of children and young people on the autism spectrum. his global gathering brings together leading experts and lived-experience voices to share practical guidance, research-based strategies, and real-world tools for everyday challenges.

Topics include behavior, communication, social skills, sensory needs, education, mental health, and caregiver self-care, making it a valuable resource for the entire autism community, not just parents. Family members, allies, caregivers, and autistic individuals themselves will find meaningful insight and support throughout the event.

A special guest highlight of this year’s Summit is world-renowned autistic spokesperson, best-selling author, inventor, scientist, and professor of animal science, Dr. Temple Grandin. Dr. Grandin will answer audience questions on behavior, communication, learning, and more.

Dr. Grandin, PhD, is a Distinguished Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University, where her groundbreaking work has shaped livestock handling systems used by companies around the world. She has also contributed to animal welfare auditing programs adopted by major corporations including McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Whole Foods. A prolific author, her works include Thinking in Pictures, The Autistic Brain, Animals in Translation, and Visual Thinking, with several becoming New York Times bestsellers. She has appeared on programs such as 20/20 and Primetime, was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 2017, named a Colorado State University Distinguished Professor in 2022, and inducted into the Colorado Authors’ Hall of Fame in 2023.

This accessible, expert-led summit offers a supportive space to learn, connect, and explore meaningful solutions for autism-related challenges across the lifespan.
