Join us for a special Watch Party to celebrate Developmental Disabilities (DD) Awareness & Advocacy Day! This annual event, held during DD Awareness Month in March, brings together Ohioans with developmental disabilities, their families, and community allies to learn, connect, and raise their voices on policy issues that impact daily lives.
Funded by a grant from the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council (ODDC), DD Awareness & Advocacy Day empowers participants to educate policymakers about ways state services and policies can better support people with developmental disabilities. This year, the event is organized by LMK Advocacy in partnership with a planning committee including Ohio Self-Determination Association, People First of Ohio, Arc of Ohio, Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA), Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities (OACB), OCALI, DODD, and the ODDC.
Come join us to watch, learn, and be part of a movement advocating for inclusion, self-determination, and a stronger voice for Ohioans with developmental disabilities.
