Dr. Seuss and the Symphony

Step into a colorful world of rhythm, rhyme, and imagination as the beloved stories of Dr. Seuss leap from the page to the stage. This playful, family-friendly, and fully inclusive concert invites young audiences to experience the joy of live music in a welcoming environment designed for all.

Families are encouraged to prepare for the concert by revisiting the featured stories Green Eggs and Ham and The Sneetches, available through your local library. You can also explore The Symphony Goes to the Zoo, written by Toledo Symphony musician Aaron Keaster with music composed by fellow Toledo Symphony musician Bill McDevitt.

Pre-concert activities will be available from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., offering hands-on fun before the performance begins. After the concert, stay for a special Q&A session with members of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. Be sure to review the Sensory Guide to help plan your experience.
