The National Museum of the Great Lakes invites families and individuals with sensory sensitivities to enjoy the museum in a calm and welcoming environment during Sensory-Friendly Mornings. These special hours feature limited crowds, softer lighting, and reduced or eliminated exhibit sounds to create a more comfortable experience for all visitors. Sensory-Friendly Mornings are held on the second Saturday of each month from 9–10 a.m., offering the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits at your own pace in a supportive and inclusive setting.
