The Ohio State University SNAP-Ed program aims to improve the likelihood that persons eligible for SNAP benefits will make healthy food choices and choose physically active lifestyles. The goal is to reduce obesity and chronic diseases among those eligible for SNAP in all Ohio counties.
LESSON 1 (May 19): MYPLATE BASICS: Choosing a variety of foods, eating enough fruits and vegetables
LESSON 2 (June 3): SMART GROCERY SHOPPING: Healthy choices at the grocery store and saving healthy leftovers
LESSON 3 (June 10): THE IMPORTANCE OF BREAKFAST
