Accessible Medical Diagnostic Equipment Presentation

The Ability Center of Greater Toledo is the host site for a presentation, which educates physicians and health care workers on ADA standards for Medical Diagnostic Equipment (MDE) and best practices for caring for patients with disabilities. This is a hybrid event, with live attendees at The Ability Center and a virtual audience on Zoom.

Medical Diagnostic Equipment Standards are set by Section 510 of the Rehabilitation Act of 2010. The goal of the presentation is to better inform local health care workers on the requirements for medical equipment and providing guidance on best practices for ensuring equal care for all patients in the Toledo area, regardless of disability. A free lunch will be provided.

Should you prefer to attend virtually, here is the link, but The Ability Center asks that you still register first.
