The newly created Ohio Department of Children and Youth invites you to a Regional Family Listening Session at Play Pals Daycare in the back of Cornerstone Church in Maumee.
As a valued family in the community, state leaders need your help making plans on how the agency should function and be structured to better serve children and families. Your opinion and ideas are crucial. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to make a difference in helping leaders create this agency to better meet your needs.
The creation of ODCY was signed into law recently by Governor Mike DeWine. The agency will promote the efficient and effective delivery of services to Ohio’s more than 2.5 million children and their families by:
● Combining functions, programs, and reducing duplicative programming from six
different state agencies
● Increasing administrative efficiency and improving the delivery of services to families
depending on these essential state programs
Food, refreshments, and child care will be provided for families who participate in the Regional Listening Sessions. One $100.00 stipend will be provided to each family that participates. RVSP at https://bit.ly/3P2dbQP
