First Tee Lake Erie invites you to The Dennis Walters Golf Show. This free show will be held at the Dattilo Youth Leadership Center starting at 1pm on June 23.
Dennis Walters was a successful amateur golfer and had his eyes set on playing golf professionally. At age 24, Dennis was in a golf cart accident that caused severe spinal cord damage and was diagnosed as a T-12 level paraplegic.
Dennis would not let this diagnosis stop him from making the game of golf his career. He went to work and designed/engineered a custom golf cart that would allow him to continue playing the game. Dennis now travels the country with his dog, putting on golf clinics that are a mix of golf mastery and human inspiration. To learn more about Dennis, you can check out these resources:
