MemoryLane Care Services is having a Dementia Friendly event, which is now officially titled “Celebrate the Community Kickoff for a Dementia Friendly Toledo.” This event is in collaboration with Leadership Toledo, Ohio Council for Cognitive Health, Dementia Friendly Ohio, and various community partners including members of our Toledo Dementia Coalition. The event goals include raising awareness of dementia, providing practical resources for businesses to incorporate dementia friendly practices, and offer information about local resources that support individuals living with dementia and their caregivers.
During our event we will celebrate Toledo’s designation by Dementia Friendly America to join their Network of Communities, which will be accepting this designation at our event.
