To cap off the final day of Developmental Disabilities Awareness month, the Lucas Board of Developmental Disabilities presents a unique event!
Area providers are joining Board staff members at each unique workstation. Attendees will get to learn more about the many different intellectual and developmental disabilities and be immersed in sensory, dietary and other challenges someone with that disability would face. They will have a passport with them that they can collect stamps from each station to redeem for a prize at the end.
Oh, and Mama's Kitchen Filipino-American Food Truck will also be there!
This event is open to the public, free and held at Larc Lane Training Center, 1155 Larc Lane (Entrance O) in Toledo.
