This training gives DSPs and Service & Support staff a clear introduction to Gtubes, Jtubes, and bolus feeding, explaining their purpose and role in meeting nutritional needs when oral eating isn’t possible. Participants will learn the differences between tube types, how bolus feeding works, and key safety practices for observation, documentation, and communication. While staff may not perform tube-feeding tasks, understanding these supports helps them recognize concerns, advocate effectively, and promote person-centered care. This training aligns with Ohio DODD annual training requirements under the category "Components of Quality Care." To register, please e-mail Clerissa Criswell at CCriswell@lucasdd.org
