Module #113: Providing Behavioral Supports and Principles of Positive intervention Culture

This month’s module focuses on identifying, understanding and addressing behaviors in a positive manner. Course objectives include learning the purpose of a behavioral analysis and the basic elements of the functional assessment process; understanding how to recognize the functions of challenging behaviors and the importance of developing positive and supportive relationships with the individuals you serve in order to understand that person’s precipitating factors.
Application was made for three (3) hours of CEUs for IA, EI, SSA, Adult Services, and Supt.
The training meets the requirements of OAC 5123-2-08 Appendix C Annual and OAC 5123-2-09 Appendix A Annual under Components of Quality Care.
