This module focuses on the role of the DSP and their ability to demonstrate basic work readiness skills, such as punctuality, organization, productivity, cooperation, and the ability to get along with others. Other skills to develop include working independently, the ability to find and understand work-related information, problem solving and effective communication with others. The purpose and importance of the 12 competency areas will be examined, as will the importance of Ethical Practice Skills.
