The University of Toledo is excited to welcome Dr. Temple Grandin to campus as part of the Edward Shapiro Distinguished Lecture Series. Dr. Grandin is a celebrated inventor, author and proponent of autism rights. She will speak Friday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. in Nitschke Auditorium. Admission and parking for the lecture are free (please park in area 20).
An autistic person herself, Dr. Grandin has been a tireless advocate of autism rights. Her lecture will address her efforts, struggles and successes. This is perhaps one of the most important lectures presented at the University in years, as the topic impacts so many lives.
