Empowering Families: Navigating Autism Support in Postsecondary Education

-Identify the differences in eligibility and type of support provided by Autism Support Programs for traditionally enrolled college students with autism and postsecondary education programs for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
-Locate helpful resources from the national entities that support the development of each type of program, Think College (postsecondary education programs for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities) and The College Autism Network (Autism Support Programs).
-Analyze which type of program would be a better fit for them/their prospective student, based upon their eligibility and goals.
