SibTalk (virtual): Sib Life and Resilience

The dictionary definition of resilience refers to "flexibility, toughness, and the capacity to withstand or quickly recover from life circumstances." While these are qualities of siblings of people with disabilities, the competing needs of family members, home environment, and relationship dynamics can cause sibs to feel "invisible"-unseen or unheard. When we are surviving but not thriving under the weight of life circumstances, "resilience" doesn't always feel like the right word.

Join Ohio Sibs with Dr. Jill Crane in a supported and interactive discussion about lives as sibs and how resilience shows itself in the support of loved ones and grows in the support of each other and ourselves.
