Since 1987, March has been recognized as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. The nationwide event aims to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities, and highlight the value, rights, and aspirations of those individuals. Lucas DD is proud to work with great community partners to present special events and programming throughout the area in honor of DD Awareness Month.
